"GOODFELLAS" (1990): As awful as Jimmy and Tommy were, I thought Henry was the worst

Jimmy and Tommy were damaged from the start, they were psychopaths who thrived in killing and stealing.

Henry still had some inkling of humanity, he knew these guys were awful, and he still chose to be cool with those guys instead of Paul Cicero. I thought Goodfellas went out of its way to highlight Henry had a heart like his reaction to Spider's killing yet it's his rationality which has his actions be more damning. One could say Tommy was mentally ill. Jimmy had his minions do his dirty work so he never got to see what they did. Henry was in on the action. And he still wanted to go back to the mob so he didn't learn anything.
